You may ask the Mills County Assessor for an informal review of your assessment between April 2 and April 25 of each year.
Complete the informal review application and email it to assessor@millscountyiowa.gov
Informal reviews for 2026 will be held April 22-23, 2026 and will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.
If you are not satisifed with the result of the informal review, you may file a protest to the board of review.
You cannot file an appeal to PAAB from the informal review.
